Deutsche Bank has appointed Borja Martos as head of its wealth management division in Spain and also as a member of Deutsche Bank SAE executive committee.
Martos (pictured) joins Deutsche Bank WM from Credit Suisse AG in Spain, where he started working in 2003 and since 2012, he has worked responsible for managing high net worth individuals (HNWI) area as well as global platforms, holding lately the top position of deputy managing director at Credit Suisse AG Spain.
With around 20 years’ experience, Martos started his career in 1996 at Merrill Lynch, and now at Deutsche Bank WM will work alongside Luis Antoñanzas, who has been heading the company’s wealth management division in Spain for the last year.
Deutsche Bank has also promoted Antoñanzas as deputy chairman of Spain WM arm, to be responsible for HNWI and working alongside Martos.
