German asset manager Assenagon has appointed Thomas Kramer to cover institutional client support for Scandinavia, the Benelux countries and Switzerland.
Based in Frankfurt, Kramer will provide support to institutional clients such as foundations, ecclesiastical institutions, asset managers, family offices, insurance companies, pension funds and banks.
Kramer joins from Quoniam Asset Management, where he spent five years as a senior relationship manager responsible for institutional business development. Prior to that, he worked among others as part of the institutional sales team at rating agency S&P.
Hans Günther Bonk, founding partner of Assenagon, said: “Our chosen direction is proving correct and we will continue this strategy. Greater internationalisation is a logical and important step for our company. We are confident that with his knowledge and experience, Thomas Kramer will be a valuable addition to our team. He also brings with him a European network of institutional investors.”
