Paris-based Natixis Investment Managers has strengthened its European distribution with the appointment of Sebastian Römer as head of sales in Central & Eastern Europe.
Based in Frankfurt, he will be responsible for servicing institutional clients with a focus on Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. He will lead the team of twelve employees and will report to Oliver Bilal, head of International Sales and Marketing.
Prior to this, Römer has been a part of Pimco for about seven years and was responsible for overseeing institutional clients in Germany. Previously, he was responsible for direct investment at private equity investor Apax Partners. He began his professional career at the management consultancy McKinsey & Company in Zurich.
