Candriam's Salazar on EM equities at Madrid Forum
Paulo Salazar, senior equity analyst- Emerging Markets at Candriam, will address Emerging Market Equities at InvestmentEurope Madrid Forum 2018, taking place on 25th October at the Westin Palace Hotel.
Salazar will share with the audience how Candriam’s fund Equities L Emerging Markets generates alpha consistently, through a unique investment approach that combines a winning stock picking approach with a thematic overlay.
According the equity analyst, with growth patterns less dependent on developed markets, companies operating in emerging countries offer numerous opportunities in the most traditional sectors, as well as in megatrend related sectors, such as technology and demography.
Salazar joined Candriam in 2015 as an equity research analyst focusing on emerging markets. He has over 10 years’ experience in private equity and financial markets, and joined Candriam from Brussels-based The Riverside Company where he was a private equity associate. Prior to that, he worked with equity research for GWI Asset Management, Equitas Investimentos and Banco Itau in Brazil covering several industries in Latin America and the United States.
