Spain’s Banca March has hired asset manager Sebastian Larraza as its new director of Discretionary Management.
The Spanish bank appointed Larraza to “strengthen portfolio management capabilities,” a spokesperson for Banca March told InvestmentEurope.
Larraza joined Banca March in May from Bankinter’s asset management arm, where he worked as a senior asset manager for more than two years.
Previously, Larraza worked at the Spanish investment group Ahorro Corporación for three years, where he was director of Absolute Return, Multi-management and Alternative Management.
Prior to this, he worked for five years at consulting firm AFI, where he was responsible for investment advice, specialised in investment portfolios.
Between 2004 and 2006, he worked at Allfunds Bank, in the area of investment consulting.
