Cobas AM registers two funds in France

Spanish equity value asset manager Cobas AM, founded last year by Spanish famed investor Francisco García Paramés, has received the approval of French regulator AMF for the distribution of the Cobas Selection and the Cobas International funds, both sub-funds of Cobas’s Luxembourg-domiciled Sicav.
Two other strategies will further be launched in the Sicav: Cobas Iberian (eligible to PEA savings plans) and Cobas Large Caps as well as the Cobas Concentrated Value fund, that dwells into the Cobas SICAV – SIF.
“France is an important market for Cobas AM and we aim to offer our fund range for the largest investor audience. The strategies we have registered enable investors struggling to find funds standing out of the crowd to benefit from alternatives to traditional value funds,” said Veronica Vieira, country head France at Cobas AM.
Cobas AM’s assets under management have hit the €2bn threshold.
