Assenagon appoints new sales head

Assenagon, the independent asset manager, has appointed Hubert Dänner as the new head of Sales. As of 13 November, Dänner will be responsible for all sales activitied and report to Hans Günther Bonk.

Prior to this, Dänner was branch manager for Germany and Austria at Amundi. Before that he was with the Crédit Agricole-CIB in Frankfurt. He was responsible for fixed income, commodities and money market in Germany and Austria as head of Corporate Sales Capital Markets. The starting point of his career was the DZ Bank in Frankfurt, where he worked from 1991 to 2002, most recently as head of Treasury Sales Capital Markets.

Assenagon’s assets under management rose to more than €20bn.
