Hengster, Loesch & Kollegen bolsters advisory board

Hengster, Loesch & Kollegen (HVAC) has expanded its advisory board with the appointment of Herbert Walter and Walter Botermann. Both complement the advisory body consisting of Jochen Sauerborn and Roland Adams.

Walter has been active in the financial industry for 40 years, among other things as a member of the Group’s top executive committee and spokesman of the board of Deutsche Bank Private and Business Clients AG and as holding director of Allianz SE. As chairman of the Management Board of Dresdner Bank AG, he led the merger with Commerzbank in 2008. He was also chairman of the Steering Committee of the Federal Agency for Financial Market Stabilisation.

Botermann has held various management positions in the finance and investment sector, including more than 20 years as a member of the management board of the insurance companies Barmenia, Gerling and Alte Leipziger. From 2009 to 2018 he was chairman of the board of Alte Leipziger Lebensversicherung, Hallesche Krankenversicherung and Alte Leipziger Holding. In addition, Botermann is a member of the advisory board at the head office Frankfurt am Main of the Deutsche Bundesbank and member of the board of InsurLab Germany.
