Milan-headquartered Hedge Invest SGR has named Giuseppe Bonsignore as Chief Operating Officer (COO) strengthening thus its structure in line with the company’s strategic business development.
Bonsignore, who quits the position of independent adviser he has been developing since 2016 at Hedge Invest, will be now responsible for coordinating and optimising processes within the company and will report directly to the CEO, Alessandra Manuli.
The new COO joined Hedge Invest SGR from Banca d’Italia where he worked as extraordinary commissioner and previously as a financial adviser at Gruppo Fiocchi. Prior to that, he worked as general director at Banca Leonardo for five years. Formerly, Bonsignore worked as Chief Administrative Officer at Lehman Brothers in Italy.
He started his career at Ernst & Young in 1989 moving later to Morgan Stanley, initially as CFO and head of compliance for Italy and then as head of finance for Continental Europe.
Hedge Invest SGR, specialised in alternative investments (hedge, Ucits alternatives, real estate and private debt), managed €1.25bn in assets under management as of 1 February 2018.
