Generali names Italy head of corporate finance

Italy’s Generali has appointed Matteo Bagalino as head of corporate finance – group investments, asset & wealth management.
Bagalino joins Generali from Deutsche Bank, where he worked at the financial institutions group in London during around four years. Prior to that, he worked at Rothschild for some four years too based in Milan. Before, Bagalino worked at Vitale & Associati for more than one year after having served at Nomura International for around two years based in London.
Vitale&Co is the leading independent financial advisor in Italy involved in complex corporate finance transactions: mergers & acquisitions, debt restructuring and debt advisory, IPOs and fund raising.
