Responding to reported increased institutional interest, alternatives manager Cube Capital has made one of three analyst hires planned for its flagship Global Multi-Strategy Fund.
Based in Hong Kong, Rui Tang becomes a generalist for Cube, assisting research across the strategies and regions it covers. She will work with the firm's other offices in London, Shanghai, Beijing, Moscow and Kiev.
Tang leaves US fund of hedge funds Fintan Partners LLC, where she sourced, evaluated and monitored hedge fund and private equity investments in developed and emerging markets.
Prior to Fintan, Tang spent three years advising Fortune 500 clients at consultancy A.T. Kearney.
The investment giant is seeking greater sales in Switzerland, with the appointment of Isabelle Brancart as head of sales and relationship management for that country.
Brancart moves from banking group Deutsche Bank, where she managed sales for securities services in Western Europe.
Brancart has 15 years' experience, managing sales and relationships with financial institutions and end investors across Western Europe and Switzerland, said State Street. Before moving to Switzerland in 2005, she worked in Brussels, Paris and Frankfurt.
Brancart reports to Jörg Ambrosius, managing director of State Street Bank, and René Charrière, senior vice president for State Street in Switzerland.
