Vanguard has appointed Gregoire Blanc as senior ETF Capital Markets specialist.
In this position, Blanc will be responsible for supporting the liquidity of Vanguard’s products, and for helping clients achieve their desired investment outcomes. He will report to Thomas Bartolacci, head of ETF Capital Markets, Europe.
Blanc joins from Lyxor Asset Management where he was head of ETF Capital Markets. He joined Lyxor AM in 2009 in the ETF Broker/Dealer Sales team.
His appointment is the latest in a series of senior ETF hires at Vanguard since the start of the year, including the appointment in June of Simone Rosti as head of Italy, the hiring of Markus Weis as deputy head of Germany and Austria in February, and Liz Wright, Rahul Thrakar and Christophe Collet joining as senior ETF specialists.
Thomas Merz, head of Distribution, Europe, ex-UK said: “We are very focused on expanding our ETF client support and product offering across Europe. Gregoire brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will help our team ensure clients get the best possible trading experience, and achieve the lowest possible trading costs, when buying and selling ETFs.”
