Dominique Goirand, the chairman and chief executive officer of French boutique Financière d’Uzès, has announced the further acquisition of a French asset management company by year-end on the firm’s website.
In a monthly editorial, Goirand outlined the evolution of Financière d’Uzès, established in 1989 by Gilbert André Goirand, that has moved to fund management and wealth management.
“We have completed a number of external growth operations and we are set to finalise another by the end of the year. We will acquire an asset management company with private clients and innovative funds that will enlarge Uzès Gestion’s fund range,” explained Goirand.
Uzès Gestion is the asset management arm of the firm, running global and diversified equity funds as well as fixed income and balanced strategies. It also manages alternative investment funds focused on vintage wine.
Among other acquisitions, Financière d’Uzès has purchased Lille-based independent financial adviser JFB Finances in 2015 and the asset manager Paris Lyon Gestion in 2013 that was rebranded Uzès Gestion.
