Katrin Boström has been appointed head of Nordic Sales for AXA Investment Managers, responsible for building the fund manager's presence in the region from its Stockholm office.
Katrin Boström has been appointed head of Nordic Sales for AXA Investment Managers, responsible for building the fund manager’s presence in the region from its Stockholm office.
Starting on 1 September, Boström will report to Irshaad Ahmad, head of UK and Nordics for AXA IM, who said: “The Nordics is a mature and sophisticated market and it is important that we continue to understand the needs of investors and respond with a serious proposition. Katrin Boström’s appointment demonstrates AXA IM’s commitment to developing its business in the region and building on our rapidly growing institutional client base.”

Katrin joins from Morgan Stanley Investment Management where she was executive director, head of Sales and Business Development, Nordic Region.
Before that she was executive director, Institutional Sales and Business Development, Nordic Region for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, London.
She has also worked at RiskMetrics Group and Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup) in London and Aros Securities AB, Investment Bank in Stockholm.
AXA IM positions itself as a multi-expert asset management company within the AXA Group. It has about €514bn in assets under management as of the end of June 2011, operating out of 23 countries.
