Veteran industry Stefano Guglielmetto will be responsible for the Italian private customers of Credit Suisse’s Multi Asset Class Solutions (MACS).
In his role, Guglielmetto will focus on investment processes, porfolio construction and risk management.
Guglielmetto joins from Deutsche Bank, where he worked as a senior portfolio manager and head of Institutional Clients since September 2014.
From 1998 to 2007 he was head of Fixed Income at ABN AMRO Asset Management SGR Italy, where he was coordinating a team which ran seven fixed income funds and one balanced fund, managing about €4bn in AUM. Since 2005, he was also head of Institutional Portfolio Management.
Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Guglielmetto worked for Prime Investment Management – Assicurazioni Generali Group and Banca Mediolanum.
Credit Suisse’s MACS unit develops and implements investment allocation strategies across asset classes for both private and institutional clients.
Investment strategies can combine traditional investments, such as cash, bonds and equities, with non-traditional alternative investments. Their products range from funds and certificates to discretionary mandates, and are suitable for a range of portfolio sizes, for both retail client or an ultra-high net worth individuals.
