Ex-Allianz GI CIO joins Reuss Private AG

The independent Swiss asset manager Reuss Private AG has strengthened his investment team with the appointment of Frank Hansen. The experienced asset manager for European small and mid caps will be responsible for portfolio management investment strategies as CIO Portfolio Management at Reuss Private.

With over 30 years of experience as fund manager, Hansen will look after the standardised asset management models in the reference currencies CHF, USD, EUR and GBP. He manages the single-title portfolios based on the strategic and tactical views and also brings his experience to the area of ​​’Actively Managed Certificates (AMC)’ and specifically to the newly launched ‘Reuss Europe Small & Midcap-AMC’.

Hansen joins Reuss Private from Allianz Global Investors, where he was CIO European and German small and mid caps since 2002. He joined DIT in 1997, the subsidiary of Dresdner Bank (today Allianz Global Investors). Among other things, he took over the management of the funds Allianz Nebenwerte Deutschland and Allianz Actions Euro MidCap funds. He has also held various positions at UBS in Frankfurt and Zurich.
