Offshore Investment, the journal, website and events provider for professionals in the global wealth industry has been acquired by Open Door Media Publishing Ltd, the owner of InvestmentEurope and International Investment.

The Offshore Investment team will be transferring with the publication. Both proprietors, Barry and Roz Bingham, will be retained as consultants.

Offshore Investment  targets ultra-high-net-worth individuals, multi-national corporations, international investors and their advisers. Since launching in 1986, deregulation, technology, communications and globalisation have transformed the world of offshore finance, and Offshore Investment has reported and analysed these continuing changes, becoming the leading brand for the senior professional in the offshore finance world.

The title is dedicated to the advancement of professional excellence in areas including trusts, estate planning, international taxation, legislation and charities and as a result, its conferences offer unrivalled access to the expertise of the industry’s foremost professionals and academics.

Nick Rapley, chief executive of Open Door Media Publishing Ltd., said: “The acquisition of Offshore Investment is another step forward for Open Door Media. Since 2013 we have grown InvestmentEurope into the leading brand serving fund selectors and we now have 27 events worldwide. Last year we re-launched International Investment for the international adviser market and we now look forward to developing further the established Offshore Investment brand, building on the success of Barry Bingham’s team.”

Barry Bingham said: “We are delighted Offshore Investment will be developed further by the excellent team at Open Door Media. Their commitment to editorial excellence and support for their customers reflects our values and makes it the natural home for the next stage of its development. It will continue to be the leading title for everyone in the offshore sector.”
