Intertrust names global head of corporate clients

Global asset manager Intertrust has promoted Jan Willem van Drimmelen from global head of sales to global head of corporate clients.

In this newly-created position, van Drimmelen – who will be based in Amsterdam – will be responsible for developing the corporate clients service’s strategy and will continue reporting to HP van Asselt.

Van Drimmelen had been global head of sales since 2013, and prior to that, he was the managing director for North America – responsible for overseeing the offices in New York, San Francisco, Houston, Delaware and Toronto.

Before joining Intertrust, he worked as a tax lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, based in London and in Amsterdam.

Intertrust chief commercial officer H P van Asselt, said: “This newly created role will support our business strategy and overall growth objectives. Jan Willem’s experience with us makes him an ideal candidate for this position to drive the service line forward.”
