Geneva-headquartered private bank Reyl & Cie has appointed Antoine Denaiffe as CEO of the bank’s arm in Singapore.

Joining Reyl Singapore in 2017, Denaiffe (pictured) began his career as a banking & finance lawyer in 2002 at CMS Francis Lefebvre, prior to co-founding Finquest, a technology platform that connected mid-sized companies to growth capital and potential acquirers.

He also co-founded Partanea, an M&A advisory firm which was later acquired by Bank Oddo BHF, and Performance Capital, an investment company with a focus on Asian venture capital.

Denaiffe will be replacing partner Nicolas Duchêne, who returns to the bank’s Geneva headquarters after developing Reyl’s activities in Asia.

Duchêne, who will join his fellow partners François Reyl, Pasha Bakhtiar, Christian Fringhian and Lorenzo Rocco di Torrepadula, will be responsible for delivering broad transversal operational and business development responsibilities on a global basis alongside deputy CEO Dominique Paladini, reporting to François Reyl.

François Reyl, Chief Executive Officer of Reyl & Cie, said: “Antoine Denaiffe will work to ensure the continued strengthening of the Bank’s Asian activities in the areas of Wealth Management and Asset Management. With his appointment, we are able to maintain a strong leadership at REYL SINGAPORE, an affiliate which is ideally positioned to capitalize on the region’s extraordinary growth potential and entrepreneurial drive.”
