Loic Bécue, former head of Global Balanced Portfolios and head of Diversified Portfolio Management, retail networks at Amundi, has joined Eric Bendahan’s boutique Eleva Capital.
The information was first reported by French financial news website NewsManagers.
It is understood Bécue has joined the boutique as head of Diversified Management at the start of September and is based in the company’s recently opened Paris office.
Bécue left Amundi, where he spent over 12 years, at the end of 2016. He was, among others, the portfolio manager of the firm’s flagship balanced fund Amundi Patrimoine. Prior to that, he served as equity portfolio manager at Crédit Lyonnais AM.
Last July, Eleva Capital has also hired Pierre-Marie Gerez as equity analyst, with a focus on banks, insurance and utilities sectors. He is also in charge of country intelligence for the United Kingdom. He joined the firm from Verrazzano Capital where he was a European equity analyst since 2014.
Eleva Capital, founded in 2014, tallies over €2bn of assets under management.
