Julius Baer names new CEO in Monaco

Swiss financial group Julius Baer has announced Alain Ucari will be appointed as chairman of Bank Julius Baer (Monaco).

He will be responsible for enhancing the governance of Julius Baer in Monaco and strengthening the bank’s ultra high-net-worth individual client segment.

Albert Henriques takes over from Alain Ucari as CEO of Julius Baer in Monaco, subject to regulatory approvals.

Henriques joins from HSBC, where he was head of Private Banking in Monaco since 2008.

He will report to Rémy Bersier, Region Head Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa and member of the executive board of Bank Julius Baer & Co. and to Alain Ucari for regulatory and supervisory matters.
