Swiss financial group EI Sturdza has recently announced the appointment of former chief investment officer of La Financière de l’Echiquier Marc Craquelin (pictured) as a non executive independent director of EI Sturdza Funds Plc.
EI Sturdza Funds Plc is the Dublin-domiciled Ucits umbrella fund structure of the Geneva-headquartered firm.
Craquelin had had a 16-year tenure at LFDE where he was a portfolio manager before being named CIO in 2009, responsible for the investment team with €8.5bn of assets under management.
He left the French manager last September.
Craquelin’s appointment was officially approved by the Central Bank of Ireland on 6 April 2018 and was effective immediately.
