Geneva private bank appoints senior fund manager

Geneva-headquartered Banque Piguet Galland & Cie has appointed Daniel Steck as senior equity analyst and fund manager in April 2018.

Piguet Galland is the private banking subsidiary of Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV). Steck will assume responsibility for the management of Piguet Fund Actions Suisse and Piguet Fund Amérique du Nord, focused on Swiss and US equities respectively.

It is understood he will also take part to the launch of new products.

Prior to that, Steck spent over 10 years at Reyl & Cie where he was a US equity portfolio manager and managed discreationary mandates.

He started his career at Lombard Odier as financial analyst with a focus on healthcare stocks in 1999.
