British asset manager Legal & General Investment Management has appointed Silvia Schaak as institutional client director covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In her new role, Schaak will be responsible for expanding LGIM’s client base in the German speaking region and also work with the group’s existing clients. She reports to Volger Kurr, head of Europe Institutional at LGIM.
Schaak joins from Credit Suisse, where she was most recently responsible for the Multi-Asset-Class Solutions team in Germany as well as institutional portfolio management at CS Kapitalgesellschaft mbH. Prior to that, she worked as portfolio manager Institutional Clients for Credit Suisse Asset Management.
