Groupama Asset Management, the asset management arm of French insurer Groupama, has appointed Servane Duforest as head of Multi Asset following the departure of Henri Chabadel who joined BlackRock as chief investment officer FraBeLux last month.
Duforest, who has been working as head of Multimanagement since 2011 at Groupama AM, will report to Gaëlle Malléjac, active management investment director. In her new position, she will be responsible for developing new asset management proposals, in particular in the field of absolute and total return and for supporting networks regarding asset allocation and fund selection.
Duforest joined Groupama Funds Pickers in 2008 as senior portfolio manager-analyst before the activity was integrated into Groupama AM.
Prior to that, she was a portfolio manager at BNP Paribas Asset Management and a fund analyst at FundQuest. She started her career as consultant and credit analyst in France and Brazil.
Groupama AM had €103bn in assets under management as of end May 2018.
