Generali Investments SRI funds awarded French gov label

The French government’s socially responsible investing label has been awarded for three years to two funds dwelling into Generali Investments Sicav, the GIS SRI Ageing Population and the GIS SRI European Equity.

Generali Investments’ SRI head Franca Perin said that public labels play a key role to help investors assessing products and to guarantee their quality.

She added being awarded the SRI label backed by French authorities is a recognition of the manager’s SRI methodology and investment process.

The GIS SRI Ageing Population is a thematic equity focus aimed to benefit from the ageing population trend through three main pillars : health, consumption, savings and retirement.

The GIS SRI European Equity seeks to outperform the MSCI Europe (Net Total Return) by investing in European companies that have sustainable business models.

Both strategies are co-managed by Olivier Cassé and Giulia Culot.

As of 28 February 2017, Generali Investments had €30.6bn of SRI assets under management.
