Asset management group La Française has reached a distribution agreement with Unica Sim aimed at expanding its presence in Italy.
The deal will provide Unica Sim clients access to La Française’s range of financial products distributed in Italy through the funds’ platform Synapse, born from the Italian partnership between SGSS and Fundstore (Banca Ifigest SpA).
The platform allows retail customers to have access to the universe of funds available on Fundstore.it, which offers almost 150 asset management companies and 12,000 funds (as of April 2018).
La Française Italy country head Luigi Brunetti, said: “The growth we are achieving so far in Italy arises from the agreements recently signed with partners like Unica Sim.
“We enthusiastically joined the Synapse project, which involves two major players from the Italian market. The new agreement will allow Unica Sim clients to use our products in order to achieve greater diversification on investment portfolios.”
La Française, led in Italy by Luigi Brunetti, currently has over €66bn in assets under management.
