Spain’s Banco Sabadell has opened a French office in Paris, president Josep Oliu has announced.
At present, the office consists of 16 employees but the bank aims at making more local hires soon.
The client base is mainly made up of Spanish groups and French corporate clients with sales activities in Spain and revenues above €200m.
Josep Ruix Balanzá, director general of Banco Sabadell in France, said: “Banco Sabadell already has a well established presence among Spanish firms in France. Now it is starting to turn into an important presence for large & middle market French companies, especially in the renewable energy space.”
