Portuguese fund industry worth €11.72bn in July 2017

Portuguese asset management industry representative Associação Portuguesa de Fundos de Investimento, Pensões e Patrimónios (APFIPP) reports that assets under management (AuM) of Portuguese funds have risen by 5.6% over the seven first months of the year, amounting to €11.72bn as of the end of July 2017.

The figure is down 1.5% month-on-month dropping to €11.72bn in July from €11.89bn in June.

In July, net new money poured into Portuguese funds amounted to nearly €366m. Over the first seven months of the year, Portuguese funds have boarded up to €466m of net inflows.

The Portuguese AM industry tallies 164 funds, a loss of three funds month-on-month.

Caixagest, Santander AM and BPI Gestão de Ativos were the three best fund sellers in July 2017.
