Swiss investment firm Woodman Asset Management has announced the launch of Woodman Europe Dynamic, focussing on small- and mid-cap companies.

The new fund, which is Ucits compliant, will be managed by Pascal Boeuf, who recently joined the group from UBS Asset Management. Boeuf will be supported by Marc Lüthy and Alexander Kostolany, who will both have sector research and deputy portfolio manager responsibilities.

Boeuf comments on the launch: “I believe that the environment for stock picking is clearly improving in Europe, in particular since Brexit and as monetary easing is coming to an end. The broad small and mid-cap universe offers access to unique investment opportunities for such a high conviction fund.”

The fund has currently attracted €67m in commitments. Overall, Woodman’s equity team now manages €120m in assets under management.
