Cristiano Carraroli (pictured) has been appointed as the new CEO of ACD, the Italy based company whose main activity is to support foreign asset management companies in the development of their investments products and business on the Italian market.
He will be supported by Chiara Verderio, Head of Research & Fund Analysis at ACD, who has more than 15 years experience in the screening, due diligence and selection of “non traditional” funds (both Ucits and funds now regulated by AIFMD).
Formerly, Carraroli has been director, general manager and CEO of regulated investment companies in Italy, Luxembourg and Malta.
At GDP Asset Management Sim, Carraroli spent 10 years supporting his clients in the whole spectrum of activities linked to asset management (asset allocation optimisation, managers selection (both Ucits and alternatives), risk management implementation, custody and administration).
Launched in 2014, ACD is dedicated to the active and competitive development of third party fund managers business in Italy. It also assists fund managers in the set up and administration of new funds.
