Spain’s A&G Banca Privada has hired Javier Benito Martínez and his team, previously working for Banco Madrid, A&G has confirmed.
The team is made up of seven professional private bankers and is led by Javier Benito Olalla. Martínez will bring to A&G some 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.
The team includes Ana Romanillos, head of Sales; Javier Rincón, responsible for equities and macroeconomic strategy; Salvador de Miguel, analyst of global funds; Álvaro Pinel, head of Business Development and Gustavo Benítez and Álvaro Navarro, financial advisers.
Banco Madrid is undergoing a thorough restructuring following the money laundering scandal which rocked its sister company Banca Privada de Andorra.
