Indosuez Wealth Management Italy has appointed Maurizio Ceron and Mario Spreafico following the acquisition of Banca Leonardo on 3 of May.
Maurizio Ceron, appointed as head of markets, investment and structuring (MIS) of Indosuez Wealth Management Italy and of Banca Leonardo, will be responsible for overseeing the group’s investment offer combining the skills of the two companies.
Ceron previously worked as head of wealth investment advisory of Deutsche Bank’s wealth management division. Prior to that, he worked as Italy country head at Legg Mason Global AM, and formerly, he worked at Citigroup AM responsible for the firm’s distribution in Italy. He also served at Gruppo San Paolo, where he was in charge of the institutional relationships at the firm’s wealth management unit.
Mario Spreafico has been appointed as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Indosuez Wealth Management Italy and Banca Leonardo and Head of Southern Europe Discretionary Portfolio Management CA Indosuez Wealth (Europe).
Spreafico, who previously worked at Schroders and Citigroup Italia, has been also named permanent member of the Indosuez Wealth Management Global Investment Committee.
Indosuez Wealth Management, the global wealth management subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Group, completed the acquisition of 94.1% of Italian wealth manager Banca Leonardo on 3 of May 2018.
