Columbia Threadneedle Investments has expanded its multi-asset offering with the launch of Threadneedle (Lux) Euro Dynamic Real Return fund in Netherlands.
The fund is designed to deliver equity-like returns of 4% above European inflation over a three to five-year investment horizon with less than two-thirds of the volatility.
The Ucits-compliant SICAV fund is managed by Maya Bhandari, who has been with the Group since 2014 and is also responsible for other products such as Threadneedle (Lux) Global Asset Allocation fund and Threadneedle (Lux) Global Multi Asset Income fund. Bhandari will be assisted by Toby Nangle, co-head of Global Asset Allocation and head of Multi-Asset for EMEA at Columbia Threadneedle.
Bhandari will vary the fund’s asset allocation to exploit pricing differences between asset classes whilst seeking to control volatility in changing market conditions. It takes a ‘go anywhere’ approach and can invest across a range of asset classes including equities, fixed income, commodities, Reits, cash, Threadneedle funds and alternative investments to provide a diversified portfolio.
