BNY Mellon has appointed Stephan Koschmieder head of Business Development for the Germany, Austria and CEE region – a new role that will be focused on the service element of the global company’s offering, including custody, depositary and fund accounting services.
Based in Frankfurt, he will report to Dennis Presburg, head of Asset Servicing Business Development for Northern Europe.
Presburg described the German market as “a key strategic priority for BNY Mellon”.
Koschmeider previously spent 11 years at Euroclear as director and unit head, Sales and Relationship Management. His appointment follows that of Katherine Starks, who joined to head BNY Mellon’s asset servicing business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and CEE.
