Investec Wealth & Investment has appointed Jane Warren as head of Digital in the UK, with a key brief to oversee development of an online investment management service for launch later in 2015.
The new service will provide simplified advice based investment management. She will also be responsible for developing digital relationships with customers.
Jonathan Wragg, chief executive of Investec Wealth & Investment, added that “our digital services will play a growing role in driving client acquisition, engagement, market differentiation and growth. Our investment in this area puts us in a strong position to extend our investment management expertise to a broader range of clients.”
Warren first joined Investec group in 1994, then known as Carr Sheppards Crosthwaite. Subsequently, she was appointed head of CSC’s third party administration business, and in 2004 head of Business Project. She was involved in integration work involving CSC, Rensburg Sheppards, and the subsequent integration of IW&I and Williams de Broë in 2012.
