Geneva bank names new partner

Swiss private bank Reyl & Cie has added Pasha Bakhtiar to its partners’ group composed of François Reyl, Nicolas Duchêne, Christian Fringhian and Lorenzo Rocco di Torrepadula.
Since 2015, Bakhtiar heads Reyl Finance (MEA), the group’s affiliate in the United Arab Emirates. He will focus on the field of digitalisation as he will oversee the building and the implementation of the bank’s long term digital strategy.
Bakhtiar started his career with Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch in Geneva before moving to Dubai to participate in the launch of LODH’s operations in the UAE where he has spent the last 13 years.
In 2010, he founded Willow Impact Investors, a private equity fund focusing on East Africa. Before joining Reyl & Cie, Bakhtiar has been CEO of ES Bankers Dubai.
“We count on the entrepreneurial qualities of talented partners like Pasha Bakhtiar to innovate for the benefit of our clients. This appointment reflects our desire to reinforce our group of partners by promoting highly talented professionals able to pursue and strengthen the Group’s development”, said CEO François Reyl.
Reyl & Cie’s Jonathan Cohen and Cédric Özazman have recently discussed the firm’s fund selection process and buy-list with InvestmentEurope.
