Groupama Asset Management’s head of Multi-Assets Henri Chabadel (pictured) has left after a ten-year stint with the firm, according to French media NewsManagers.
The firm confirmed the move to InvestmentEurope. Chabadel’s replacement will be announced soon.
Chabadel, named multi-assets chief of the French insurer’s asset management subsidiary in 2015, was overseeing a seven-strong asset allocation team managing multi-asset products against balanced benchmarks, flexible multi-asset products with a focus on different risk constraints.
A high-profile fund picker, Chabadel was with the firm since 2008, having been successively head of Funds of Funds, head of Sigma Funds (absolute/total return) and head of Investment Solutions.
Other multi-management roles held by Chabadel were with HSBC Private Bank in Paris and Louvre Gestion. He had also been head of Risk and Quantitative Analysis at Banque du Louvre.
Groupama AM had €101.7bn of assets under management as of end March 2018.
