Portuguese Caixagest's AUM of €3.9bn top the list in July

Portuguese asset management industry body APFIPP has reported that Caixagest was the Portuguese management company with the largest market share in July 2018.

According to APFIPP (Associação Portuguesa de Fundos de Investimento, Pensões e Patrimónios)Caixagest’ total net assets stood at €3.9bn in July, representing 32.7% of the total. BPI Gestão de Activos ranks second with assets under management amounting to €2.96bn and a market share of 24.8% followed by IM Gestão de Ativos with €2.11bn in AUM and a market share of 17.7%.

IM Gestão de Ativos grew 4.6% month-on-month in July but the largest growth in total net assets belonged to GNB-SGFIM increasing by €5.1m.

Since end of December 2017, Invest Gestão de Activos’ AUM experienced the highest percentage growth up by 27.1% (€9.2m) while GNB-SGFIM had the largest increase in total net assets with €27.3m.

During the same period, GNB-SGFIM received the largest inflows with AUM amounting €24.1m followed by Bankinter Gestão de Ativos with €14.4m and by Invest Gestão de Activos recording €9m.

In July 2018, GNB-SGFIM registered the highest net sales with €1.5m followed by Invest Gestão de Activos with €1.2m.
