Spanish insurer Caser has launched Smart Bolsa Global pension plan, a global equity product focused on ESG criteria and gender equality goals.
Smart Bolsa Global, advised by the Spanish Eafi Casadevall, aims at equalising or slightly overcoming the profitability of the MSCI World Index with dividends.
The pension plan’s management process consists of selecting the best active managers of global equities, excluding the US, as well as targeting the most efficient ETFs for the US stock market.
Smart Bolsa Global will invest bolstering on one side, gender equality – by favouring those funds managed by women globally or in which women play a key role in the investment decision process – and on the other, focusing on SRI and ESG criteria, investing primarily in funds meeting those principles.
Ulysses-LT Funds European General, J O Hambro – European Select Values, Tokio Marine Japanese Equity Focus Fund and Morant Wright Sakura Fund are some of the investment strategies included in the pension plan’s portfolio.
