Lombard Odier IM has expanded its institutional sales team for Germany and Austria. Christian Kratochwil has been appointed as senior adviser in Frankfurt for the asset manager of the Lombard Group, effective 1 December.
Kratochwil reports to Robert Schlichting, who moved from Deutsche Asset Management to Lombard Odier IM in October as head of Institutional Sales for Germany and Austria.
Kratochwil is responsible for looking after insurance companies, pension funds, pension funds, family offices and foundations.
He joined from Nestor Advisory (formerly Cartesio), where he had similar responsibilities as managing director. Prior to that, Kratochwil was partner at IO Capital Partners and head of Market Making and Exchange Fund Trading at DMB Deutsche Börsenmakler.
The asset manager said he had doubled his Frankfurt sales team for Germany and Austria within two months.
