French emerging manager seeder NewAlpha Asset Management has appointed Vladimir de Maack as international investor relationship manager.
Based in Paris, De Maack reports to Clarisse Anger-Jacob, head of Development at NewAlpha. He will be reponsible for developing the visibility and client relations of NewAlpha outside France.
In addition, he will be in charge of developing NewAlpha’s private equity business abroad.
De Maack joins from the Societe Generale group where he spent 13 years. He was most recently head of Sales Development at Lyxor Asset Management in Luxembourg and Belgium. He developed there the firm’s offering in alternative products to institutional clients.
He has also been a portfolio manager assistant, still at Lyxor, managing seven portfolio managers assistants of structured and quantitative funds.
NewAlpha has entered into more than 60 strategic partnerships and invested more than €1bn in French and international asset managers.
