Indosuez Wealth Management (Indosuez WM), the global wealth management business of Crédit Agricole group, has appointed Marco Szemere as senior wealth manager to be based in Milan.

Szemere joins Indosuez from BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, where he has worked as team coordinator since 2014. Prior to that, he served as executive director at UBS Italia during seven years and a half based in Milan.

The senior wealth management banker also worked at Capitalia, where he worked as a senior relationship manager-large corporate during almost four years. Formerly, he was head of M&A and New Issues at Rasfin Sim where he spent 11 years of his career.

Indosuez Wealth Management signed an agreement to buy a majority stake in Italy’s Banca Leonardo last November, in a deal that was expected to increase Indosuez WM’s assets under management by €5.9bn.

The global WM business had €118bn in AUM as at the end of 2017.
