Merck Finck appoints head of central region

The Munich-based private bank Merck Finck has appointed Daniel Sauerzapf as head of central region starting 1 Janaury 2018. He will report directly to chief executive officer Matthias Schellenberg, Merck Finck.

In his new role, Sauerzapf will be responsible for central region. He will also be a member of the private client management of the company.

In addition to the Ruhr area and East Westphalia, the central region also includes the Rhineland and the Rhine-Main area.

Sauerzapf joins Merck Finck from Vertiva Family Office, where he was managing director. Prior to joining Vertiva, he has worked for about ten years in various roles at Credit Suisse and UBS, including branch manager and regional manager.
