Aviva bolsters multi-manager research unit

Aviva Investors has made a double addition to its multi-manager research team with the appointment of Luca Dal Mas as senior multi-manager analyst and Joshua Biele as multi-manager analyst.

Based in London, they report to Isabel Emo Capodilista, head of Multi Manager Research.

Dal Mas joins the company from Barings, where he managed multi-asset strategies across developed and emerging markets and a fund of hedge funds. He was also in charge of fund research for both the institutional and the charities businesses.

Biele joins from Jupiter Asset Management where he served as a product and client intelligence analyst.

Aviva Investors recently strengthened its multi-asset team with the arrivals of Kevin O’Nolan and Guillaume Paillat as multi-asset portfolio managers as well as these of Patrick Bartholet, Katarina Cohrs and David Nowakowski who all joined as multi-asset strategists.

As of end 2017, Aviva had assets under management of £353bn (€396bn).
