French boutique Matignon Finances has appointed Olivier Cornuot as head of Asset Management.
Most recently, Cornuot was absolute return senior portfolio manager and executive director at UBS/CCR AM he joined in 2011.
Prior to that, he served as head of Quantitative Management and head of Absolute Return at Lyxor Asset Management from 2006 to 2011.
He started his career in portfolio management at BNP Paribas AM in 2000 where he was responsible for the management of diversified funds.
Launched in 1984, Matignon Finances runs four strategies including one diversified European equity fund (France Sélection Valeurs), a global equity fund (Libre Sélection Mondiale) and a European equity fund compliant with the French savings plan PEA (Europa Valeurs).
The latest fund, Saint Philippe Obligations, is an alternative investment fund that focuses on fixed income securities.
