Singapore-headquartered Eastspring Investments has appointed Virginie Maisonneuve (pictured) as chief investment officer, effective as from 11 January 2017.
Reporting to chief executive Guy Strapp, Maisonneuve will be responsible for managing all investments at the firm, including the firm’s equity, fixed income, asset allocation, private equity, infrastructure and onshore investment offerings.
Previously, Maisonneuve has been managing director and chief investment officer, equities at Pimco.
Prior to this, she spent more than 10 years at Schroders as head of Global Equities, director and portfolio manager.
Maisonneuve also held roles of portfolio manager in a number of asset management firms, including Clay Finlay, State Street Research, Batterymarch and Martin Currie.

Eastspring is the Asian investment manager of Prudential group and had $140.3bn in assets under management as of 30 June 2016.
