Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) has appointed Christian Leger as new head of Swiss Retail & Wholesale Business. Based in Zürich, Leger will be responsible for managing and coordinating this division in Switzerland, reporting directly to Sandra Sonnleitner, head of Retail & Wholesale in the Germany/Austria/Switzerland (DACH) region.
Leger spent 16 years with the global investment company Capital Group, gathering experience of the industry and proactively helping to progress and shape his employer’s business. During his time with Capital Group, he was responsible for developing the global finance intermediaries segment and for the distribution of Capital Group’s investment services among several strategic markets.
