Fitch Ratings’ Asset Management and Fund Quality ratings are now available on Eikon, the desktop market data solution from Thomson Reuters.
The particular ratings affected assess managers operating in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Managers are rated M1-M5, with M1 being the highest, on the basis of their organisation’s investment and operational platform.
The Fund Quality ratings combine qualitative analysis with quantitative data from Lipper – another Thomson Reuters company. The ratings focus on the individual manager’s ability to deliver risk adjusted returns, risk management, and the quality of operational infrastructure of individual funds. Ratings are done on a five-tier scale from Excellent to Inadequate.
