WisdomTree has reinforced its commitment to quality ETF research with the appointment of Christopher Gannatti as head of research in Europe.
In his role he will lead a four-strong analyst team comprised of Nick Leung, associate director and Florian Ginez, senior quantitative associate at WisdomTree responsible for macroeconomic analysis and formulating investment strategies and trade ideas, as well as Nitesh Shah, director and Aneeka Gupta, associate director who have joined from ETF Securities.
Gannatti will make sure that clients receive up-to-date, expert insight into global macroeconomic and asset class specific developments, and will also support the UCITs platform globally. He will work closely with WisdomTree investors to educate on equity markets, commodities, foreign exchange, fixed income and ETPs.
The appointment follows WisdomTree’s acquisition of ETF Securities’ European exchange-traded commodity, currency and short-and-leveraged business.
Gannatti moves from WisdomTree’s headquarters in New York where he has worked since December 2010, initially as a research analyst, before being promoted to associate director in 2014. Prior to that he was a regional consultant at Lord Abbett for four and a half years.
